Email & SMS Marketing Specialist

Apollo Interactive is seeking a productive, detail-oriented, analytical, motivated, and creative Email and SMS Marketing Specialist to join our Los Angeles (El Segundo) office. This is a full-time position. As an Email and SMS Marketing Specialist, you will be a key part of our marketing team. You’ll be creating transactional, remarketing and drip campaigns, and working with 3rd party advertisers to generate leads for our clients. You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally on a variety of projects and be a key player in a revenue-generating role at Apollo Interactive.

Ideal candidates will be organized, strategic, quick learners, able to work independently, and interested in digital marketing, online lead generation and insurance. Applicants must have excellent communication and time management skills, be able to work efficiently in a team environment, and can manage multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities include:
  • Create email and SMS campaigns from end-to-end to support the marketing strategy
  • Initiate ideas for A/B tests; set up A/B tests and evaluate campaign metrics and digital analytics to make actionable recommendations and inform the development of new tests
  • Manage email and SMS deployment calendar and testing calendar
  • Monitor and analyze performance of campaigns and develop insights to be used for campaign optimization
  • Optimize copy for maximum deliverability and engagement, including open rates, click through, calls, conversion and profit
  • Build and maintain email and SMS segments in accordance with overall strategies
  • Identify and resolve deliverability issues, bounce backs, spam complaints, and opt-outs
  • Keep up to date with email and SMS marketing best practices
  • Attend and present KPIs and campaign learnings
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the campaign creation process to improve efficiency and productivity

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree from 4-year university required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in email and SMS marketing
  • Experience in copy writing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze and optimize around data
  • Skilled at marrying data and creative marketing to paint a picture of events
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at once
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills required
  • Microsoft Excel fluency is preferred
  • Understanding of online lead generation is preferred
  • Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
  • HTML proficiency is a plus

Apollo Interactive is seeking an enthusiastic team-oriented Business Development Coordinator to join our Los Angeles (El Segundo) office. This is a hybrid in-office/work from home position.

As a Business Development Coordinator, you will be supporting the Business Development team with the growth and success of our new business initiatives. This position will allow you to develop sales and account management skills as you communicate with clients daily, as well as B2B marketing skills.

Responsibilities include:
  • Support the lead generation team that services our clients in the insurance and mortgage industries

  • Assist Business Development Team with integrations and launching new campaigns
  • Manage and optimize campaigns from start to finish
