Senior Media Buyer (Insurance – Lead Generation)

Apollo Interactive is seeking a proven, analytical, and resourceful team player to join our team as a Senior Media Buyer.  This is a full-time position in our Los Angeles (El Segundo) office and will report to our Media Director. The position will work closely with our Media Buyer Team as well as our Affiliate Marketing Team.

The position will oversee managing multiple media campaigns across social, native and display advertising channels. The primary goal of these campaigns is to generate leads for our clients in the insurance and financial services industries. The Senior Media Buyer will be responsible for the overall strategy, media planning & executing, optimizing, and reporting of these campaigns.

Applicants must have at least 3 years of experience in Social Media Advertising and Digital Media Buying. Ideal candidates will have a combination of strong mathematical and analytical skills coupled with strong marketing insight and a creative mindset. We are looking for someone with experience generating insurance or financial service leads in Social Media Advertising platforms and at least one native/display network (ex. Taboola, Outbrain or Revcontent). The candidate must also be able to use Microsoft Excel for reporting and basic data analysis. 

Responsibilities include:
  • Manage daily execution of digital media campaigns across multiple social media platforms.
  • Conceptualize and implement strategies for campaign creation.
  • Make hands-on bid updates to meet and exceed KPI’s and CPL targets.
  • Work with front-end development to build landing pages and ad units.
  • Run A/B and multivariate tests on landing pages, creative, messaging and user experiences.
  • Develop, maintain, analyze, and communicate detailed reporting of campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align paid media efforts with overall business goals.
  • Generate quantitative analysis and models to optimize campaign performance.
  • Keep up to date with best practices and strategies.
  • Help prospect and explore new potential advertising networks.
  • Perform competitive research and other tasks as needed.
  • Develop relationships with media vendors.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ Years of experience with Meta Ads, Instagram, Reddit and TikTok
  • Experience with Meta Ads lead generation for insurance or other financial services
  • Experience with Display and Native ad networks such as Taboola, Outbrain and Revcontent
  • Ability to strategize, analyze, and optimize campaigns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • BA/BS degree from 4-year university

Director, Property & Casualty

This is a full-time position. As the Director, Property & Casualty, you will play a key role in the growth of our Home, Auto, and Pet Insurance verticals. Controller

Apollo Interactive is seeking an early-career Controller or someone who has the experience and is ready to make the jump up. This is a full-time position in our Los Angeles (El Segundo) office, with a hybrid schedule. The Controller will report directly to the CFO as well as interface routinely with executive level management. We are seeking someone with excellent skills and experience who can not only handle the day to day in Apollo’s fast-paced environment but with a desire to continually grow and enhance the Accounting Department functions with proven and new ideas.

Responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for all day-to-day operations and activities of the Accounting Department, including General Ledger, Billing, A/R, A/P, Payroll, etc.
  • Ensure that all functions related to the Accounting Department are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage the monthly revenue reporting and reconciliation for all Apollo entities
  • Manage the monthly close timeline process across all Apollo entities including review of journal entries, inter-company transactions, and account reconciliations
  • Coordinate and run point on the annual audit with external auditors
  • Ensure maintenance of general ledgers, financial statements and ongoing cash flow for internal and external reporting
  • Effectively communicate with the Sales/Account Teams for invoicing matters
  • Review all vendors at year end for required 1099 reporting, preparing 1099 forms and returns
  • Responsible for annual reporting on 401(k), Section 125 health plans and federal unemployment tax returns

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Assist in preparing quarterly and annual reporting for presentation to the Board of Directors
  • Assist in timely preparation and review of tax returns and regular filing of sales and franchise taxes as prepared by external tax accountant
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and rolling forecast/actual budget for use throughout the year
  • Assist in insuring compliance with regulations including Sales Tax/Department of Revenues, Internal Revenue Service, and Department of Labor
  • Work with CFO and Accounting Team to build on internal policies, procedures and controls

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience managing a company's accounting function
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls and processes
  • Knowledge of auditing procedures and practices
  • In depth knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional prioritizing skills with ability to multi-task

Education & Experience:
  • 5-7 years of financial accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
  • Experience in accounting in the tech industry a plus
