Email Marketing Coordinator
Performance Marketing Agency

Apollo Interactive is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, motivated, and creative Email Marketing Coordinator to join our Los Angeles (El Segundo) office. This is a full-time position. As an Email Marketing Coordinator, you will be part of our lead generation team managing our internal email data, working with 3rd party advertisers and emailers to generate leads for our clients. You will work closely with our team of Account Managers, Developers, Affiliate Marketers, and the head of the division on a daily basis to maximize email revenue for the company.

Ideal candidates will be organized, strategic, quick learners, able to work independently, and interested in digital marketing, online lead generation and email marketing. Applicants must have excellent communication and time management skills, be able to work efficiently in a team environment, and can manage multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities include:
  • Brainstorm tactics to generate revenue via email marketing
  • Create emails using in-house tools and HTML and conduct A/B testing
  • Manage email deployment calendar and keep email segments up-to-date and in accordance with strategies
  • Monitor performance of email campaigns and implementing strategies for optimization
  • Build and maintain email lists
  • Optimize emails for deliverability, open rates, click through, conversion and mobile devices.
  • Identify and resolve deliverability issues, bounce backs, spam complaints, and opt-outs
  • Keep up to date with email marketing best practices and strategies
  • Implement effective and efficient processes for generating leads via email marketing
  • Attend and participate in weekly Team meetings
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity
  • Conduct analysis of KPIs and develop plans to continuously improve email performance and email marketing revenues

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree from 4-year university required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in digital or email marketing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of online lead generation is preferred
  • Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
  • Ability to strategize, analyze, and optimize around data
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at once
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Microsoft Excel fluency is preferred
  • HTML proficiency is a plus
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills required

Junior Analyst

Apollo Interactive is seeking an analytical, operational and team-oriented Junior Analyst to join our Los Angeles (El Segundo) office. This is a full-time position. As a Junior Analyst, you will be part of our Lead Generation team and assist in analyzing, tracking, optimizing and reporting on online advertising campaigns for new and existing clients. You will also be responsible for a variety of our billing procedures, including managing the monthly and quarterly closes, invoicing clients, paying vendors and monitoring credit terms.

Ideal candidates will be organized, strategic thinkers, quick learners, and extremely analytical. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are a must. Additionally, applicants must have excellent communication and time management skills, be able to work efficiently in a small team environment and manage multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities include:
  • Compile reports for lead generation sites to be used in weekly meetings
  • Handle Lead Generation team’s accounts receivables and accounts payables in a timely manner
  • Develop and analyze detailed reports, including projections and campaign performance reports
  • Optimize cost per click advertising campaigns to meet and exceed performance goals
  • Provide comprehensive analysis of KPIs and trends to increase campaign profitability
  • Work with multiple departments to improve efficiency of processes
  • Diagnose and assist with time sensitive issues relating to data errors and trends
  • Verify new client credit references and monitor existing client credit terms

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree from 4-year university
  • Coursework in finance, accounting, or business is preferred
  • Advanced MS Excel skills are required and knowledge of macros is a plus
  • Basic understanding of lead generation and the advertising industry
  • Online advertising or agency experience is a plus
  • Ability to strategize, analyze, and optimize around data
  • Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail are essential
